January 2007 Meeting Minutes
Hey guys,
Sorry these minutes are a little late.
Congrats to Jessica Whiteman, student of the month for December. There's still no word on the student for January or on the second quarter teacher.
Dues are now $12. Thanks to those who paid last meeting. We still have about seven people who need to pay. If you are a senior and you don't pay by the end of the month, you will not get a graduation stole.
Since the first semester is coming to a close, point counts and GPA's will be checked; those lacking in either will be put on probation and will have one grading period to bring it up. Seniors risk losing their NHS stole, even if they have paid their dues.
There will be Monday tutoring at A.G. Wright from 3-4 p.m. Taylor Christiansen is the chair. See her if you want to sign up.
The arts extravaganza on the 27th is the last event for this semester. There are still spaces available, so sign up. The event is split into three-hour shifts, and those coming for the second half must arrive about 15 minutes early to learn the craft. Sign up in Easter's room.
Peer tutoring is still going on. Jake will interrupt your lives to help if he needs you.
The assisted living home will now be on Wednesdays. The next one will be most likely the last Wednesday of this month. See Danny H. if you want to help.
Margaret Brent tutoring will not take place this week; however it will resume the week after. See Kristen Olbeter to sign up or if you have questions.
School beautification is this upcoming Friday. I believe James has twelve spots, so sign up in Easter's room.
Teacher appreciation is on for February. Brody intends to bring in candy for the teachers and then assemble them into little baggies. For more info ask him.
Alright, that's all. Next meeting is on the 8th in the auditorium. Peace out.
